FYI: Works with PC, I use this for my living room PC and works great. I paid more, this is a good price. I first tried the DiNovo (sp?) form logitech and did not like it.

When you get done making cookies and brownies on your xbox easy bake oven. Come on over to my house and you can watch a Blu-Ray or play a game on the PS3(I have almost 8 feet of 1080p goodness). I might even let you play with the Wii.

Clearly, you feel slighted by microsft for making such a "HOT" gaming system that looks last year when compared to the future that Sony is creating. Sure Sony is dragging their feet a little on the gaming front, but their network works fine for all the content I have used it for. Blu-Ray is, (check Hd-DVD site for the truth), leading in sales and performance. But, you really seem to miss the point of the PS3. It is not just intended to be a game station. It is where the future of your media world is heading. They just are trying to be the first device to take you there. Sure they have a couple wrinkles to iron out. But the vast majority of PS3 owners see the potential of their device. The rest of the people just gripe that it is too expensive or hate Sony. Why else do you think microsoft did everything Sony did, just several months to years after Sony.

PS3 has Blu-Ray drive built in. Later, Xbox comes out with a brick to sit next to the xbox that claims a lower resolution HD player.

PS3 lowers price to sell off extra stock. Then Xbox does the same thing.

Now, who do you think is imitating who? Clue, it is not Sony.

PS3 has a built in blueray... IF blue ray fails, I'm not saying it will or won't, but IF it does, your stuck to a proprietary format...which sucks.

if HD-DVD fails, not saying it will or wont, xbox will then release a blueray add on player. We're not locked in to a certain format. How's that Matrix in Blu-ray?

The Xbox is a gaming console, which is why people buy it...Microsoft didn't force people to buy a console and then have ZERO good games, which made people go and buy blu-ray movies. PS3 owners who actually bought a gaming console for gaming got burp.

I love how with the PS3, just like the 360, you can buy or rent movies from a marketplace, rent hi-def movies, and v shows...oh wait, that's right, Sony can't do that. I'm sorry.

Sony installed root kits on the computers of their own customers and filed predatory lawsuits against lik-sang (by Sony's logic, you're not allowed to have a garage sale because they don't think you have the right of resale). burp Sony. OMG. I had no idea that battle between PS3 and 360 is about the same as Ford and Chevy.

So #1, how well does it work with your pc. I have thought about it, but never tried, and your the first I have heard of saying that it works.

Wow, this thread went from being informative (thanks #1) to degrading all beacause someone's (whittiker) parents chose not to set their parental block to "Young Child" before they went to work and left their preteen home for the first time. I did, however, take his advise and waste my time reading a few of his previous posts. I discovered his lack of education, on up to date products, stems from his inability to discern the difference between productive verbage and explicatives, as well as an overall poor grammatical use of the English language, as referenced from one of his earlier posts, today, "amazon don't charge me no tax #8." If he would bother to research products, instead of forming a blind opinion about them, he would have discovered the PS3 is a much more feature rich platform than he envisions, and that a $30 mobile phone from Sprint can do as much, and more, than his beloved iPOD. Can the iPOD download songs over the air? Does it have access to play streaming music from companies like Sirius and Pandora? Can you rent full length movies (over the air) on the iPOD? What about steaming video or live TV? Can you listen to your iPOD through a stereo bluetooth headset with out extra, costly attachments? Does it come with TELENAV? Can it access Google Maps? My $30 Sprint phone can AND DOES all of these things. Next, if he can actually read this much in one sitting, he'll probably say something about apples to oranges, bring up the iPHONE (MS fanboy) and try to show how much better it is than my phone. Did I mention my phone was $30? MS is so out dated. Wow, how I despise ignorant people.

The PC is a much better platform for games and also you should of gotten an XBOX 360 instead if you really wanted a Console.

congrats on your sprint phone being able to do all that. It impresses me that technology has come so far. I use my phone to make phone calls... I dunno, call me old fashion in using a product for its original purpose. But, I am glad you have a horrible service provider.
