I have these. Great battery life even after almost 8 months of using them 3-4 times a week at work till the battery dies.

I use a Sansa e280 with this and it works great. HOWEVER, I noticed that when I first started using this with my Sansa, it would shut off aftre 5 minutes or so. The auto shutoff would think that the Sansa wan't playing anything and would shut down the Pure-Fi. After some trial and error, I found that if I had the Sansa on full volume and used the volume control on the Pure-Fi, I was fine. I don't know if this would be the case with other non-iPod players but when reading reviews on Amazon, there were numerous complaints from people on the auto-shutoff. Hope this helps someone that may be considering this unit or is experiencing the issue.

BTW, I got my Pure-Fi from eBay for about $60 and eventually exchanged it at Walmart thinking that the original unit had an issue. For $10 more, you may want to order it from Walmart and have it shipped to your store or for $.97, to your home. If you're not happy with it, its easy enough to return it.

So what good is "Pure-Fi" anyway. Chances are your hearing ability has already been damaged in the mash pits, the high volume ear buds, the rock concerts attended in front of the loud, loud speakers. Save your money for a hearing aid.

This is not as good price. Costco has these for $69. They might not have it online.

Other than that, this has decent sound for the size. If you need something for travel, this is one of the best ones to get. If you do not travel, I would rather get the "bigger brother" Pure-FI Elite. The sound is better, and it has a FM radio and alarm clock. Currently around $144, but has been a lot less than $100.

Not a great price and okay speakers, know people who use them for work. There are better out there for cheaper.
