Amazon has the refurbished Logitech Revue Companion Box with Google TV and Keyboard Controller for $80 with free shipping. Integrates with HDTV and cable or satellite system, features 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and Ethernet and comes with pre-loaded apps for Netflix, Pandora and more.
Maybe they take a clorox wipe to it? Nah... you're right. "Returned" is a better term, but better to clorox it yourself. The returnee might have been a chronic mastrubator
My brand new one was defective so I ended up returning and going for the refurb. I agree that it was probably a return but at least they probably tested it before shipping it.
It still has the 1 year warranty but no pretty retail packaging.
I got mine and it works great. Amazon Prime members have free unlimited streaming for some media. PlayOn works great on it and you can then stream live tv although, not in HD. I wish I had gotten this sooner. I am still playing with the Revue to see what it can do.
It's a really great device for the price. HDMI pass through, universal remote for your TV and receiver, keyboard, web surfing, built-in 802.11n wireless, and with the latest update it has access to Android Market (although very few apps are actually compatible with it). Ended up buying two of them.
I'm not sure how you refurb something like this. I think a better term is returned.
