Saw this at Best Buy the other night. They had it for $199.99. Seemed kinda cool. All but one write up said that this has to be connected to a cable box. Do you lose or gain anything by bypassing the cable box and plugging directly into the TV?
The way that I have my system connected is the Fios DVR is connected to the Revue. The Revue is connected to the TV. All of my connections are with HDMI cables. I think that the Revue only has HDMI connections, but I may be wrong. It has been hooked up for a while. It will connect to your wireless internet, or wired. I used wireless for a while, but I went to ZyXEL PLA4205KIT Powerline Kit Gigabit Ethernet Adapter because I had inconsistent results with wireless. The powerline kit works great. I have only had the 3.1 update for a few hours, and have not had quality time to spend with it yet. It looks good so far.
I just got my update to Android 3.1 last night. I was wondering when it would get here.

#1. Do you like it? How do you have it hooked up? Is the update worth it?

Just got a Sony Blu-ray player with internet access and apps. Wonder if I need this or not.
