If it works anything like my brand new G500 gaming mouse's scroll wheel it is AWESOME. Click the little button and ZinG! you fly down page. Click the little button again and you have the more restrained click-to-click feeling most scroll mice have.

i bought an rx1500 from newegg for cheap a few months ago, i use it as my primary desktop mouse, and i like it.

the only "problem" is getting use to the middle mouse button residing on a dedicated button in front of the wheel, instead of being the wheel itself (which now toggles between free-spinning and ratcheting).

i bought the mouse because it's a cheap full-size laser mouse with a tilting scroll wheel. i was initially hesitant about the separate middle mouse button, concerned it would require too much finger travel to use, but it's not that bad and the free-spinning-or-ratcheting wheel is a nice bonus that i use occassionally navigating long documents, web pages, etc.
