My local Wal Mart has the V220 on sale for $10 plus tax, too.
So you're paying most of the dollar saved in taxes, driving there to save less than a roll of pennies, AND having to endure Walmart?
Ok I see your point, free admission to a circus is a deal if you're in the mood.
dave_c, with your employee discount you can get this mouse for around $9 at Wal Mart.
I would buy a better mouse than this one. The USB receiver is too big. I got the VX Nano for $38 and the hyper scroll wasn't working well after several weeks. It wasn't too bad, it just didn't do smooth free spin as it suppose to be. But logtech sent me a brand new replacement without asking me to send back the defective VX nano.
I gave my defected hyper-scroll mouse to a friend and for some reasons after couple months, the hyper scroll smooths out again. I guess the metal wire inside was bent back correctly after jamming the mouse into the crowded notebook bag for a period of time.
usb reciver size is important but more important is where you store it when not in use.
The VX Nano is a better mouse if you have the cash, but this one is great for the price.
I just purchased this yesterday at Walmart for $15
