I purchased this about 2 weeks ago and last week got it and it did no wok, it powered up but would not move the mouse cursor, think everything worked but the usb transmitter was not for this freq mouse, I got a replacement and same issue and this one shut off after 30 seconds, so I did let Buy.com know and they are better than these mouses as who evr checked then out did a poor job so be where..

Last refurb mouse I got from buy.com was a Best Buy display model and was not refurbed. It was basically used. But it worked anyway.
#2 Refurb means used. Nothing more. This isn't like a starter or an alternator for a car where they rebuild them and replace the parts that are worn.
Refurb are items returned for some reason, usually because it wasn't working. The most they do is test it and if it kind of works, they resell it. Some people think they do a whole rebuild of the thing.
Depends on where you buy it #3, some places selling logitech refurbs are selling new manufacturer overruns in OEM whiteboxes. I agree that none are rebuilt though, what would be the point of that anyway if it works?
just contact with logitech. they will replace you a brand new one and you don't need to ship the refurb one back to them.
