Ritz Camera has the Logitech VX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks for $59 - $30 rebate [Exp 3/31] + $7 shipping = $36 shipped. Features MicroGear Precision scroll wheel, Document flip feature, and runs on a single AA battery. [BizRate]
It's not perfect, but it's really quite good. It took me a few weeks to really get the hang of using it (as compared to my mx1000 and g7 mice). However, once I got all the settings where I like them and adapted myself, it's gonna be pretty hard to top.
VX and MX are the best mouse out there that you can find. I purchased 2 V470 from buy.com last week to check if it works just like the VX. No, VX is the best.
boo hoo! picked up 4 of them from quill.com at $19.99 each, free shipping & with NO REABATE to hassle with. i think it was a fire sale and they just wanted to clean out invtry. iv'e never seen it for less then $30.00 and that's with reabate! just go to show if you lucky enough to be in the right place and time then you can pickup monster deals. btw great mouse with many feutures, very comfy and great battery life.
finally jumped on an MX recently. I do a lot of copy/paste from veeery long web pages into excel. It's saved me 30-40 mins every day. Really. I wish the VX had the on-the-fly microgear shift that the MX has rather than having to flip the switch on the bottom, but you can't have everything. Yet.
#6 how long have you had the MX? And is the mouse accurate? I just bought the G9, but it is a bit too uncomfortable for my hand so it will be going back to Amazon.
I like the shape of the VX revolution, but love the on-the-fly microgear switch of the nano. Also I hate how there is a trapdoor for the dongle on the VX. It's nice to have easy dongle access of the revolution. Now, if only logitech can combine the 2...

Right now quill.com has the MX for only $60 shipped! Best price I've seen for it.
if you're not in a rush, the mouse will drop into the sub $10 category during bf sales. (got one for $7 shipped) Same for the MX revolution.
this is the best notebook mouse ever created. seriously.

Battery lasts forever...I can't imagine a better laptop mouse.
