#1 is right...the deal ended 10/26. Yes, that's October 26th. Unless this is coming around again, fire up those time machines!
unless you put this in the middle of the room, how can the omnidirectional sound feature be useful? I just can't think of a reason or situation that I would put a pair of computer speakers in the middle of the room though.
If this is wireless speakers, then I might be able to position them around the house to create a backgroud music affect during house party.
At 2 watts RMS per channel I don't think they'd be much good for that
