The newest of the budget-line 5.1 speakers from Logitech. I've had a set for a month, and they are pretty good. Don't expect much bass, but for general computer use you can't go wrong. Better, IMO, than the previous iterations, becaue they simplify the "control module" by putting (fewer) controls directly onto the right-hand speaker. Wires of the rear speakers are too short, as usual, but you can rewire them easily or just use rca-type M-F extension cables. You might find them lacking if you play MP3's really loud or expect extreme gaming sound effects. Step up to the $250 level Logitechs for those apps.
With the rebate, this is a killer deal, and your best choice for some budget-level new sounds.
No optical/Toslink input - which rules out direct connection to many HD TVs today.
