#4 and #5 you are so right. If I were gonna switch away from Windows, I would go with a real linux OS.

Uhm, yeah. iHate is only due to ridiculous over-pricing of bottom of the line hardware with a good OS. Elitist slope brow types who buy these are to be pitied.

m0f0 feeling a little inferior? What's wrong? 6% in the American, 4% overall market too much for you to handle?

      #13. Yes. No.
Mac will run windows, but the windows boxes will not run MAC...yet.

I love that story about the reporter who accidentally threw his away in a pile of magazines because "it's so thin." However, the Lenovo X300 is only .1" thicker, the same weight but has 3 usb ports, card reader, ethernet, removable battery and an optical drive. With the STANDARD SSD drive, it's $300-600 less than the Macbook Air.

I love the Lonovo tagline in their ads: "Everything else is just hot air."

actually, osx runs fine on lots of non-apple hardware.
for a start, check out Psystar and osx86project.

This product is very controversial because Apple continues its unethical practice of ripping-off technically challenged and less intelligent people with its overly expensive yet inferior product other company wouldn't charge half for.
