I had bad luck with a refurb. After 90 days, that was it.

I bought a Roadmate 2200T refurb.
It was like new, fully boxed with all accessories.
Only difference was the box was plain white.
OK I looked into it. Here's I read on the web, take it with a grain of salt. This year there is a lot of refurbished and recertified GPS units. What I found is everyone is selling them and lots of stores have them too. I checked on line and its true.
I also found that this year that many that were in stock had firmware updates and were repackaged. This made them refurbished. This is one of the better years to get a deal.
I just ordered two of these for my boys.
I cannot depend on refurbished Units. I have heard they they can have problems in getting the signal.
Looks like a no worries deal for the price based on Amazon's reviews...
