Today must be GPS Monday. I don't think I've seen so many on a single page of Ben's in a while. I rent a lot of cars for business travel and most have GPS units in them now, so I get to play with many different brands. Compared to the Garmin and Tom Tom, the Magellan (IMO) has the least intuitive interface and I really dislike their virtual keyboard. The text to speech works well and is almost a necessity in large cities where street intersections are close together.
IMNSHO while it can be argued that Garmin is more user friendly and has a better interface, TomTom's IQ Routes feature makes it the brand to buy.
