Not sure how magellan is going to compete with one map upgrade. At least the major players now give lifetme map updates. Smartphones will kill these off eventually but I see map upgrades as a benefit /
smartphones have its benefits so as stand alone gps. smartphones will kill stand alone gps market if it has free monthly service and 100% signal coverage.
