Waste of money. Like all mags they only last 1 set of batteries before you have to destroy it getting the dead batteries out.
^ You're not supposed to store anything long term with alkalines in it to avoid an excessive amount of leakage and corrosion. I know that is very inconvenient for a flashlight, but there's nothing in particular about this light that would cause batteries to vent more so than any other light running off alkalines if that's the format you want.
