Doesn't Wally World sell this for 100 bucks in store?
Why would someone be interested enough to buy a Blu_Ray player and then return it so it could be sold as refurbed?
Because it was a Funai POS player.
Does not appear to have Ethernet, must upgrade from SD or DVD? Amazon reviews are 2 positive and 2 negative for new unit.
A collection of music or video discs is just a jumble of discs gathering scratches with no easy ability to find the artist/track you are looking for.
Stop buying discs.
Download and view movies "on demand". Just put your computer and ethernet cable near to the TV & sound system. Then subscribe to a movie downloading service.
Don't buy any more obsolete media (or obsolete media players).
I got the Wally one for $98 new unbeknownst to me all the internet buzz from the day before. I'm really hoping for the PS3 slim to come out and maybe return this within the 90 days should it come out by then.
#5 is Blu-ray quality streaming available from Netflix yet? I didn't see anything on the site to indicate as such. Trying to download a 4-7GB torrent with few seeders is meh...not to mention you have to ensure your laptop/computer can handle the output to the 1920x1080 TV.
I am however somewhat interested in the Blockbuster rental service for Bluray discs. I'm not a big fan of the cargo that gets viewed like once and then just sits on the shelf. Classics for kids like Cars, anything from Pixar, or Planet Earth might be worth purchasing though.
