i bought one of these the last time a deal was around. at first i thought it didn't work, turns out i'm just an rodeo cowboy. you have to scrape off the first layer of finish before it will spark. then it works beautifully.

I tested mine on a paper towel. It worked like a charm, but I nearly burnt my house down.
