^ If it had wheels they'd need to be locking wheels or else it'd roll away during use, and that would raise the price. However, you could buy wheels for it and install them yourself, the type with a bolt at the top so you'd just drill holes in the legs of the stand and attach them with a nut.
These are cheap versions of what they use in hospitals and clinics. You can't expect much.

I have the Altra unit and it works fine for my old notebook at my bedside (sadly, I do e-mails upon waking at 7 M).
If you need portability, just get one of the folding resin tables (http://www.staples.com/Iceberg-Resin-26-Personal-Table-Platinum-Granite/product_569339). They work great.
I plan to use it for using it for a standing more while doing light reading or computer use - probably good enough for this. I hope it's decent enough.
