Newegg has the refurbished Makita LCT200W Drill Driver & Impact Driver Combo Kit for $150 with free shipping. 18V Lithium-Ion combo includes the BDF452HW 1/2" Driver-Drill with 450 inch-pounds of torque, and the BTD142HW impact driver with 1280 inch-pounds of maximum torque.
makita will last all day for months and months we use them in work, you will never use the impact drill,it would be better if they included 2 drills,i would not buy refurbished/used as you dont know the state of the batteries one new battery we had went after 3 days, dont run down Lithium-Ion batteries all the way or they will not charge,
@ #1 You don't know what are you talking about and cannot be a professional user. Impact driver over drill anytime of the day! There is nothing better to drive in tapcons into concrete or even screws into wood. Drill will wimp out way before impact has already hammerd that screw into material! Not to mention not having your wrist twisted or drill falling on your head because some are that strong!
An impact driver is handy, but handier still is one with enough torque to get off vehicle lug nuts (or of course, own both the lower torque impact driver AND a cordless impact wrench, I only mean that a larger impact driver can serve both duties if necessary if/when the frequency of use doesn't justify owning both tools)... though larger major brand impact drivers tend to cost more than $150 w/battery by themselves.
