Adorama has the Manfrotto 7301YB Compact Tripod with 3-Way Aluminum Head for $60 with free shipping. Features 56" max height, 7-lb capacity, separate pan and tilt locks, 4 leg sections, and includes a carrying bag.
adorama spam is impossible to get rid of. call it junk, etc... and it keeps showing up. I like their prices, but be aware; use your junk email as communicaton with them.
if you're at all serious about photography or videos.. don't waste your money on this. and if you're not, go to best buy and get the cheapest one there. it'll work just as well. good name brand tripods (ie. manfrotto/bogen) will be at least $150. the best bang for the buck, in my opinion, is slik. you can get a decent slik brand tripod for under $100 bucks. it also depends on what kind of a shooter you are. landscape and sports shooters will require different setups. go to your local photo store and try them out.
I have DSLR i'd like to get a fluid head for. Being it's just a hobby I don't want to spend 400 and up for one. Any recommendations like a good ball head that might get almost the same effect?
