i've been looking for a decent upgrade from my 10 year old 5.1 this looks like a good deal but with marantz you are really paying for the name they had years ago. I would do better with a SRTX805 onkyo...any ideas?

The Marantz SR8001 is a step up from the Onkyo equivalent.

There was a decent Denon deal on another site (290x CI) that was only a little more expensive than this and have much better specs.
