DANGEROUS Reviewed By: SlicedHand on 10/13/2009 Tech Level: high - Ownership: more than 1 year Pros: Convenient and handy, but dangerous.
Cons: The plastic lid can come lose during operation exposing a set of rapidly spinning, razor sharp blades. This is exactly what happened with mine while I was making salsa. My hand slipped into the blade mechanism and my kitchen was covered floor to ceiling with blood and salsa. It cost me $1600 at the ER to have my hand sewn shut.
Other Thoughts: Maxi-Matic should not make these. NewEgg should not sell these. You should not buy this.
If you look at the Amazon reviews you will see what was my experience with this; it is LOUD AS HELL. I thought that people were overreacting, but $20 later I realized they weren't.
Seems a decent value for so many pieces but the blood spattering mangled hand review turned me off.
Damn!!!

Avoid this product!
I like it...other's misfortune makes me click elsewhere. Thanks!
first i thought it's a really nice little piece of kitchenware. Then I find this dangerous and now turned off.
Why does a flowbee need this many attachments?
Sorta looks like a magic bullet.
