@gopatinc No, not really. 7200 RPM is pretty standard for desktop internal HDDs. Slower drives are, well, slower. Slower spin usually means longer seek times less read and write throughput, etc. Heat will depend on case ventilation, etc. Depending on you situation, noise might be a more important consideration. Mine is just fine, but as always, YMMV.
