Again, 89.99 shipped free from Frys. Hold off... not a hot deal. Unless the 20 off 100 is still working.

Just installed this HD in my system today ($80 last week at NewEgg - including $20 w/ PayPal). It's running fast, cool, and quiet. Nice.

these are 7200.10. i have the same model and it says 7200.10 on the bottom. got mine from chiefvalue.com... shouldn't be any different from newegg ones.

also, those with maxtor label are supposed to be 3 year warranty. seagate 5 years. made by same company, but different warranty... not that hard to understand.

Evidently Seagate can build cheaper or the hard drive is better than Maxtor's or both.

in three years, this drive is gona be absolite,
in three years, there is going be 4tb drive, or even bigger
on other hand, even with warranty, you will get only refurbushed back and you ave t pay shipping to company
on other hand, if you find same capacity drive with 5 years warranty and same price, price let us know

In 5 years, this size drive will probably look like a 80 GB does now and probably cost just as much as this one does now.
