I totally disagree...I have been in computer repair for over 15 years. Most comptuers that I see that have a Mcafee product on them have have multiple viruses and other crap that is not caught. Or the OS is corrupt due to Mcafee. Please spend your money elsewhere!

#2, those type of comments usually come from Norton employees or AVG (or similar free software) users who are bitterly jealous of McAfee's capabilities. Please stop spreading misinformation.

Yeah, who cares what the Tech Support guys have experienced? I want to know what the trolls think.
Can't speak for the 2009 version, but the 2008 version was a complete resource hog on three different computers. Replaced with Kapersky and AVG with excellent results.

Total Crap 2009. AVG is just as bad. Norton Internet Security has always been bloatware crap. Go with the Norton 2009 Anti Virus & Anti Spyware Edition. Or if you can get your hands on Endpoint & only install Anti Virus & Anti Spyware Edition.

No, I just believe in a product that actually works. Norton 360 is crap, and not a fan of the whole NIS suite...just norton antivirus 2k9. And again, most of the computers that are brought into my shop with mcafee are loaded with crap b/c it got by their shield...Go with a proven product...not this....Or put this crap on your machine...then pay me a visit when it messes up...works for me!
