I happened to call Office Depot to check on this sale. The call taker stated it was NOT available for store pickup anywhere.. Ben's tried to pass on this bogus free shipping deal before...
Yeah it's not available for pickup. It's just a ruse to get you to spend $50 or else pay another $10 for the item.
This is the 3rd time I've seen this deal in about a month.. last 2 posting had this item w/ free shipping.. current order requires you to spend at least $50 before you can get free shipping... it's a very good alarm/radio that will allow you to use you iphone (prior to 5)/ipod as other audio inputs.. there is also a line in if you had other audio devices
If you really want this, just buy $50 worth of stuff (including the alarm clock) and return the unwanted stuff to store. Problem solved. You have to take the trip to the store any way if store pick-up is available. Now you take the same trip but for returning instead.
I like the way you think, #6... Beat'm at their own game... The question is did Office Depot give Ben and the rest of the deal pushers the bogus free shipping info or is this a Ben's staff error?
