Um....wouldn't the "magnetic" money clip erase the information stored on a credit card's magnetic strip?
Yes that is a concern. On a dare I once used a neo magnet from a HDD to successfully erase the strip on a depleted debit card (product rebate payout card) although I expect it's magnetic flux was quite a bit higher than on this wallet.
But this is not as stupid as the bonehead that gave me a minus one because I said that all wallets here are ten dollars.
Magnetic wallets do not demagnetize credit cards. According to the Mythbusters, you need a magnet of ~1000 gauss to do anything, and the ones they put in wallets are nowhere near that. Hotel room keys are a bit easier to wipe because they're designed to be overwritten all the time, I've had problems with those and earbuds in the same pocket.
Anecdotal evidence, but I carried a magnetic money clip for 5+ years and had zero problems with credit cards being demagnetized.
