As someone who has spent much of their life playing a violin and was a public school string teacher, I cringe at these deals.
DO NOT buy this for your child in a public school music program.
If you are an adult who want to learn a little bit, it might be okay. As a general rule these type instruments are difficult to play and hard to hold pitch( tune) with poor tone . You get what you pay for! A local shop is more expensive but generally better instruments.
