MidnightBox.com has the refurbished Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000, White (69R-00001) for $13 + $4 shipping = $17 shipped. It runs on 2 AA batteries and does not require a dongle for Bluetooth-equipped computers. [Compare]

I'm just not that impressed with this mouse. The wheel/button is way to sensitive and the 5000 feels even smaller and less comfortable than the Logitech V470. Both suffer from what I call lost mouse syndrome and just stop working. It doesn't matter what brand laptop they are connected to they seem to lose communication with the laptop 1-2 a day. I googled it and this seems to be a common BT mouse problem with no cure.

I can't stop looking at the picture. Vaguely reminiscent of Junior sex-ed.

Good point #2 - some day when you grow up you might see the real thing!

I've owned this for about a year, and it works just fine. I've had to re-introduce it to my Dell laptop a couple of times, but I had the same issue with the Logitech 470.

Bluetooth ain't all that terrific or stable, whatever the use.

Very good battery life, and unlike most small mice, this one has a browser "back" button, which is why I chose it in the first place.

If you're looking for a small bluetooth travel mouse, you could do a lot worse than this. Like the Targus battery eater, say.

Works good, can be glitchy when returning from its built in power save mode (turn it off and on.) I bought one 2 months ago and already had to replace it because its to small and made my hands cramp on long projects.

Agreed. I'm sick and tired of having to re-introduce my Garmin GPS to my cell phone every other time I actually try to use the speaker feature.
