I have used Microsoft keyboards for many years -- the feel, the quality are always top notch, IMO...

I have one like this at work. Great feel. But where my thumbs rest on the space bar (and a few other frequently touched keys) the pebbled finish becomes a glossy smooth finish. Probably because of oily skin. But the 4000 series that I have at home still retains the original pebbled texture on the keys.

I had this keybd. Not a fan. No tactile response. Very little difference b/w up and down state. Get a true split keyboard instead. After a few days getting used to it, you'll never go back.

imo it's better to go with the razer keyboards; split keyboards are a little weird imo, but right now most stuff is better than the laptop keyboards x_X
