i bought this yesterday morning when it was first advertised in newegg's (nearly daily) email.
sounds like it has potential with 5 buttons, 4-way scroll wheel, and laser-like bluetrack (i always wanted to test the marketing claims on that microsoft technology) and only $12 (free shipping) with decent reviews (though only 3 so far).
a potential downside is the free-spinning wheel. i use a logitech rx1500 as my primary mouse at home and it has two wheel modes (metered-click and free-spin) which is nice, but i'm not sure about only having a free-spin wheel (maybe i'm just too use to the metered-click).
