Newegg has the Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4FD-00016 4500 5-Button Wired Mouse (White/Black) for $20 - $12 off with coupon code EMCNBGJ66 = $8 with free shipping. Features BlueTrack technology, 4-way scroll wheel, programmable buttons and rubber side bumpers.
i bought this mouse back in feb when it was $12 and it's decent. i wanted a large mouse (my daily mouse is a logitech rx1500, shaped very much like this one), good tracking on a variety of surfaces (including a light gray plastic folding table that gives some mice fits), and several buttons including a tilt wheel, as a backup/standby mouse (in case one of my in-use mice suddenly dies or i temporarily set up a computer/laptop).
it's larger than most desktop mice and about the same size as gaming mice, so if you don't like big mice, then don't get this one.
the scroll wheel is free spinning (no clicky), but has enough friction that it doesn't scroll forever, but not enough that it often scrolls when you try to middle-click, though maybe if i used it daily i would master it.
it has a good solid feel to it (mouse weight and stiffness of the materials) and all the mechanical movements (button presses, wheel scrolling).
the only downside is the implementation of the always free spinning mouse wheel (while i really like the design of my rx1500 that has a standalone middle button and depressing the mouse wheel switches it between free spin and clicking).
