Wifecam?
Very decent basic webcam, far better than the basic Logitech Messenger (same hardware as 10 years ago). Image and color quality are decent and the built-in microphone simplifies things for installations at family members. Worked best for me with Skype, although will work with any IM service.
Would recommend downloading just the drivers from Microsoft and avoiding the installation of drivers from the CD with their related promo-and-garbage-ware.
