You'll find it weird and uncomfortable at first, then you'll begin to love it. That's how I convinced my mom to do...
Pilates!!!
It's true about this keyboard, it will take a bit of getting used to but now I absolutely prefer it over a standard flat keyboard.
Used one for years, much preferred.
My favorite keyboard ever. My only gripes are that the white printing wears off the letters, and the default mappings of some special keys and the zoom rocker are not optimal and hard to customize. You have to hack the file (google it).
I have the 2000 model of this and it's pretty good. The 4000 model goes back to the split ergo design where as the 2000 is the gentle curve. Some people don't like the split design cause they are too use to crossing over and typing with the wrong hand but it's pretty easy to get use to. Use the split keyboard for a few days and you'll be use to it.
The keys feel a little mushy even after they have been worn in a bit.
But I still love this keyboard.
If you are able to get a basic wireless KEYBOARD/MOUSE for around $25 during sales, you would think these are not wireless and wired for $25
It costs less than $5 for these to be made especially wired ones.
By now they should start offering these atleast for under $10
so greedy stores and manufacturers!
This is a great keyboard.
Fits just right for my massive monkey paws.
#6 - It's called a free market. If people don't value them at the prices offered, then they don't buy them and manufacturers reduce price or quit manufacturing. If people value them at an offered price, then both parties are getting something out of it.
Ergonomic keyboards are not purchased in the same quantity as regular keyboards, so the price will be higher. It's basic free market economics.
The only thing I hate about this keyboard is the F-lock. It has this "feature" where the F1-F12 keys serve alternate functions, and an f-lock (another toggle key) triggers whether it's F1-12 or those functions. I hate the fact that its not always F keys.
I never got around keeping one of these for long at the office, it seem these are on demand and disappear mysteriously.
I love this keyboard. Bought two before, one for work and one for home. Glad this is back on sale, great deal. In for another because I damaged the one at home (I need to attend anger management).
SOLD OUT!
