Good deal if you like MS Office. I find the newer versions a pain to use. Can't find the tool I'm used to using easily and way too much clutter. They keep adding features that appeal to a small segment of users while making basic things harder for everyone. Just another way of selling you the White Album again as they say. If you aren't doing anything fancy Open Office is easier to use and free. Tough call for business since there can be formatting or compatibility issues but I get that with MS Office sometimes too. The company I work for is ditching MS Office for Open Office. Guess I'll find out how good a substitute it is in a business setting. Strangely they switched us to MS Outlook and most here aren't liking it. As with Office what was once easy is now hard. I feel the same way about Win7 but most seem to think it's great so must be me. As much as I dislike Macs it is starting to look tempting. Maybe Ubuntu would be a better way to go.
MocroSh*t treats students like sh*t. I've heard MS sold MS Office 2010 to the government for $10/license. I guess it would be same situation for education institutions. The idea behind is to force the society to use their products because the government and businesses use them. McDonald gives you some choices. MS does not. Pigs.
