I just installed it. It seems to work great. There's a transition ribbon in power point that is pretty cool. When the beta period is over what happens? Do you lose the ability to use the program?
does openoffice support the .docx format cleanly? last time i tried it still wasn't supported.
They gave us Open Office at work which is OK by me because I have been using it for a few years now and like it alot. The problem is the dumb-ass bosses use MS Office 2007 and send us docx and xlsx files. Why use 2 different programs for the same purpose? Why not just use the free program?
Because managers are dumb as dogsh|t and will chew off their own balls if they think it's cool.
I'm holding out for the master beta. I hear it's cumming soon.
I downloaded but I have not tried yet, probably will have to since I have no choice either...
Many files I create in 07 and move to an 03 loaded computer don't work. I wonder if 10 will correct this issue.
So far, I'm really impressed with Office 2010! Especially the new Outlook. Works great in Win 7!
The software will stop running on 31/10/2010. You will not receive any other notice. You may not be able to access data used with the software when it stops running.
