Try it out from Btjunkie or somewhere else but I have had great luck with it. I like the XP virtual machine it has been working for all old programs. DX 10 is nice to see playing Crysis and Bioshock, can't wait to get MW2. Price is ridiculous in this depressed economy.

Unlike Vista, Pro now has everything in Home, including Media Center. Ultimate just adds the Enterprise features (which is not available in retail). There is slim chance that any home user would use anything in Ultimate that's not in Pro.

I don't see where Win 7 is any better than Vista. Am I missing something? It takes just as long to boot, it isn't any snappier, and my CPU actually runs hotter.

If you are a student, you can get Windows 7 for $29 but I don't know what version or if it's even still active.

Google to release it's operating system next year.

I'll hold off a year until we're up to at least SP7 for Windows 7 and the price is sub $75...

You can also get 7 Pro for $29 on the student deal if you have a valid college (.edu) email account.

I been using the Windows 7 Professional for the past 2 months. I have to say that I love it. I think the reason why people don't like Vista or Windows 7 is because its a bit different from Windows XP and they can't find what they're looking for that can cause frustration. Once you get to know it its great and better than all the previous Windows OS.
