God is this a good deal?
Every piece of baconnaise this company turns out seems to cost more.
Maybe they need a new business model - if they made things that worked and people wanted they could charge less! burp it- they wouldn't, they would charge more.
Things that worked? Look friend, this is windows and you'll use it whether you want it or not.
And what are you #1 - Douche Apple Fanboy(girl) or geeky little linux user , that likes to sit and rebuild kernels all day long ?
If you happen to be a college student and want Windows 7 Pro, you can pick it up for less than half of this price direct from MS. They also have Windows Office 2007 dirt cheap. I think it is called the Ultimate Steal. Great deal for the price.
tell me about it.im on the thirty day countdown, replaced hd on laptop dont have oem disks so coa on bottom is nfg.guess billy g. needs a new gulfstream.
OEM keys get tied to the first motherboard you activate it on. It will be a pain or not permissible to re-install if you ever try to migrate to a new system.
#1, shut up and pirate it like you're going to do anyway. Just admit that you're a cheating douchebag instead of pretending it's some kind of matter of principle.
ZipZoomFly has Windows 7 Home Premium OEM on sale for $100 with free shipping before a $10 rebate, or $90 after rebate. That isn't a terrible price (it's $105 at NewEgg), but I hate rebates.

Money money pow-out the window (no pun intended)
#6 Good to know it keys to the mobo. I just installed 7 pro 64-bit, for the first time, the other day on a pretty well used HDD.
Didn't care for how it installs. Just sits there stalled out at times like there's an issue but turns out to be normal. Had a couple of false starts, checking connections etc. It's always something with each new version.
#1, IMO this is worth it if you are currently using Vista. I upgraded from Vista to Win 7 on my work machine and Win 7 is noticeably faster.
