Yeah, that must be why Vista was such an overwhelming success that Microsoft felt the need to introduce Windows 7 earlier than originally planned...
If you want to argue about the "compatibility" advantage as the basis for comparison (note the correct spelling), then XP > Windows 7.

#18 - all too true, the corollary to that could probably be that the biggest the thumbplum, the more likely their opinion is as valid as a heaping pile of excrement as well.
Tried Windows 7. Ubuntu supports all my hardware. Windows 7 only works with most of it.
