Just tried the new-egg code and it said "The promo code EMCJNJH82 has been closed and is no longer active." Hmm, that day went by quick.

So wait, if you buy it now, it's $60, but if you wait 12 days, it's $40?

Exactly. Windows OS release is like male pattern baldness. This one has no hair... ME, Vista, Windows 8.

@goob. 40 dollars is online download only. if you want a disc it's an additonal 15 bucks or so plus fees. 60 dollars here buys you the retail packaged version.

Sorry, not interested. I have no touch screen devices and am happy with 7. Only using IE to update my computer. Using UMPlayer, which is far superior to WMP. Plays literally everything, remembers where you stopped even after it's been killed, and can be controlled with single key keyboard commands.

Oh yeah.. let me get a deal on an OS that is incredibly irritating to use. Sounds good to me. How about just removing that stupid tile webpage you added and go back to going straight to the desktop.. oh wait, that would be Windows 7.
