Decent mouse and excellent battery life. At least 6 months of daily use for battery life.

I have a V200 logitech mouse and the batteries in it have lasted for more than a year. Also, the receiver is much smaller and portable. The VX Nano's receiver is even smaller.

For me, this is the best mouse at fitting my hand.

Are these MS mouse the same design as the old intelliexplorer ones? If they are then no go for me. For some reason their rubber-skin attracts dust like there's no tomorrow...

Yes it's the same style housing. Plastic top and then the sides are the rubber-skin that your thumb and index contact.

I had this mouse and hated it. The wheel sucks, and the whole thing feels really cheaply made.

Good mouse with excellent battery life. Range is really short though. Be careful not be stupid like me and put in the batteries backwards... I fried my first one

i'd echo the earlier reviewers. the mouse/base is constructed from mickey-mouse (plastic) material ~ but the laser performance, e, relative response rate (assuming a safe distance between your mouse & the base [it's lousy the further apart]), compared to the optical mouse is noticeably better & well worth the andrew jackson switch.
