Zune 2 = 2 little 2 late.
Perhaps, like almost everything else that MS has done, we should wait for version 3.
#20... care to put some facts behind your opinion? Here's mine... http://bensbargains.netn.com/2khnyq
Oh, all right Ben, be like that...
http://wizardprang.wordpress.com/2007/10/11/i-listen-therefore-ipod/
Not bad. I bought it when it was $100 and it was worth it too. $90 would be a great X-Mas present instead of fighting the crowd to save another $1.
I'm thinking of getting one of these for an elderly relative. For such a person, a bigger unit is better, and the most important thing is ease of using controls.
Although I like it myself, the ipod click wheel can be very hard to use with old, unsteady fingers.
Does anyone have any experience with these zunes that might be relevant?
TIA!
It's no IPOD

or not that is for you to decide. I would buy it though if I needed a nice MP3 player.
i thought the a new brown one was on sale for $99 at Costco.com.
they were offering brand new zunes for $79.99 at Buy.com the other day. This is a better deal than iPod but not good price for refurbished.
hm.. if only i could justify getting another one..
#19 is wrong. I always thought the Microsoft ergonomic keyboard was fantastic. The Xbox is pretty, pretty good (Larry David dixit).
BTW, the Zune, according to the recent survey of readers of PC Mag is the #2 reader's choice MP3 player (slightly behind the IPod).
If you could rig this to work with your 360 as an external drive it would be cheaper / more storage than their ridiculously over priced hard drive.
I have this same original model. Highly recommend. Its 30gb and plays mp3s, vids, movies, FM radio. Great battery life and ive dropped it a bunch of times and it still works. This used to be $199 so $90 is a good price. They probably dropped it due to the new model they just came out with. I also have an Ipod but have been using this more than my Ipod.
Thanks #18. I'm in for one.
If you don't mind Brown, you can get a brand new one from amazon.com for the same price. However, availablity is Dec 11.
I can't take my eyes off of # 20's comments
Pretty good price. I was tempted again, but I really don't need a video player so I'll wait.
the zune is not an ipod

, you can obviously tell because its alot cheaper
yes, this does have tv out. It's actually pretty nice, look-wise not as pretty as the ipod, but it's got nearly all the functionality plus some more like radio. I got one at 105 few months ago on woot, and they kept on dropping the price, and now even includes a travel pack (which seems nice) if you buy 2 or more. sigh...oh well..
this does contain wifi, but so far ms provided no way to surf the internet..maybe if they keep on letting ppl upgrade to later firmwares, eventually they'll include a browser or something? I'm not sure though..
at nearly 3x cheaper than a ipod video, i think it's worth it..
#35 Is it his comments or something else?
you need a separate cable (avail on ebay) to do the TV out.
