I would recomend the home av kit from directon.com 66 bucks
it's 100 everywhere else. You need to charge it from a usb port if you don't buy it.
Just picked up 2 and get a traveler pack for free.
Very good deal.
BTW, I picked up a refurb 4G iPhone for $249 and I will say it is a brand new iPhone with a "refurb" label on the box. There is a rumor that Apple what to get rid of all their 4G iPhone but cannot lower the price so they just sell them as refurbished.
This Zune is the same thing..... they need some way to get rid of their inventory that they cannot sell for full price... there is a good chance of getting a new Zune for $80!
I found the new software link
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/926770?sd=zune
the new firmware/software RULES!
This deal says Expired.
EXPIRED? Why would you want a refurbished one for 90 when you can get a new brown one for 99 at buy.com? Spring for the 9 bucks.
Why pay $99 at buy.com when you can get the brown Zune from Amazon for $89?
Because it's referbished putz
I stand corrected it is new for 89 at amazon but does not ship until december 11th .
Sorry They must have just started it , they were selling refurbed ones
#30, Keyboards are a commodity market in which MS is a bit player.
IIRC, both Generations of Xbox had horrible reliability problems... I know of four people who have 360s... ALL had to return them with the red ring of death. This means that they were pushed to market before they were ready.
Also, being #2 to the iPod does not mean a lot when the competition is outselling you by about ten-to-one.
#42, #49 et al, I picked up a refurbished 40GB iPod for $71 on eBay. Very happy with it. Cost less than this deal, has more storage space (my MP3 collection is approaching 30GB).
Remember that this is a REFURB zune, not a new one, so it could be unsold stock, store returns or defective-repaired.
It is obvious to me that this is just "clearing out the channel", dumping old stock on the market as the Zune2 comes out.
#47, You don't need a subscription service to put your MP3s on an iPod, I assume that it is the same with the Zune.
