      iPod
      Knock Knock.
      Who's there?
      Bacon.
      Bacon who?
is defined as something that once you buy it, it destroys iPods in a 5 mile radius from it, provided you have it powered on.

Man! Where do they come up with such sobriquets? Why not call it "Yet another MP3 player and video viewer in an already damn crowded market of devices needing your diminishing desk space and coming with its own unique power supply and feed-me feed-me-now schedule that makes you a slave to feeding your electronic babies the needed amperes and volts every few hours" Gosh!

Yeah #16, because there aren't any iPod refurbs out there. I'd say about 80% of the people who I know that have got a "refurbed" Zune thought it was brand new. Some folks have even speculated that Microsoft is marking them as "refurbished" even when they're not as they are liquidating their inventory. I also haven't heard/read a single complaint from anyone who's got one of these. In fact most people say that it's better than their friends'/siblings' iPods and that their friends/siblings are jealous.

#14 is right. It's for the brown one of course. It's sold out online, but I think the stores would likely honor the price. I'm calling tomorrow.

BTW, my cousin had a new Brown Zune at Thanksgiving that he got with the Buy.com deal. I already liked the brown, but in person it just looks great. Nothing wrong with the Brown Zune at all.

Well this deal is expired and it seems the best deals on Zunes are starting to disappear. $96 for the Brown one on Dell is still available. My Amazon buy just shipped (2 weeks early). Glad I got in on that one.

The Zune is a really nice device and the 3 inch screen is really nice to look at. One sweet feature of the new firmware, besides the nice new interface, is wireless sync (no cables) like the second gen Zunes. I got in on a Black and White refurbished Zune at woot.com for $85 each and got a free Zune Travel Pack. By the way here's a 5% off coupon for Buy.com:

Says minimum is Windows XP on Zune site, don't have it, any chance this will work with Windows 2000?

Dell fails to mention they don't actually have them in stock so the ship date is about 02-01-08.
