    Dear toddsucks,

Why on earth would you ever want 500 gb of music? You probably don't listen to 90% of it.

Also, the idea of a player isn't to keep your entire music collection on you 24/7.

Actually, 1GB is way enough for me for music. If for video, I think 20GB may be better. Anyway, these players are not cheap, especially those from Apple or Microsoft.

Why shouldn't I have my entire music collection on me at all times? What's the reason for that belief?

Because beliefs are based off of the accumulation of knowledge we call common sense. 20 gigs holds about 7500 songs. Your 500 gigs would hold about 150,000 songs. The average person reads 250 words per minute. It would take you 600 minutes just to figure out whats on the list. Thats 8 hours just to scrol through it. Your either that person that has canadian bacon tendencies when the music sounds good or bi-polar and doesnt know who you are just yet.

600 minutes should be about 10 hours, not 8

150,000 songs is about $150,000 worth of music. Unless it's been obtained illegally or from allofmp3.com.

My insurance company didn't agree with #9 when my portable hard drive was stolen from my vehicle.

lolz stolen from vehicle.. zune is pretty good.. when you go buy it.. they give you a $15 gift card in store.. or just go to the post office and get a 10% coupon... but you can only get the $15 or use the 10% coupon.. either one...

It is amusing how the new / latest generation Zune tries to look like the last generation iPod. How deliciously ironic. *smirk*

It is amusing how apple took an old concept (portable mp3 players were around years before apple made their first iPoop) and tried to market it as their own and had the gall to label a device that plays mp3s as an "ipod".

It is amusing how incorrect #14 is. Apple invented the iPod. *smirk*

I would just rather get online. BestBuy provides just about the same service you'd get from an online vendor.
