#6, the iPod classic is clearly never going to be the best zune out there, baconeer.

I bought a refurb Creative 8GB Zen for $84.00. It's in perfect condition and is an awesome player. Definately worth consideration.

These are really nice - high quality feel, good interface and great sound quality. The headphones actually stick together back-to-back with magnets. Nice touch..Too bad there's hardly any accessories.

The Zune made a huge leap with the update from 2.0 to 5 I have a Zune 80, which I was really starting to regret having purchased because it crashed on me all the time. Problems went away with new software and really enjoy it.

I'm with you on that one #15, I got mine for $80 off woot way back when and it has survived several drops onto pavement without any sort of skin on the device. I must say that the zune software can be a little frustrating to use(some songs randomly not loading onto the device on the first try) but I have been able to work out the kinks.
