no, 1.8" LCD is nothing good to watch video. It is way too expensive for MP3 only. My old Tilt phone has a 2.4" LCD. 2.4" for QVGA or 2.8 for VGA at least.

Refurb? it could actually be Zune Guy's very own Zune, since he's become an anti-Microsoft militant now (wonder how he's going to cover all these tattoos)

#4 cellphones can do many things well but never great. Thats why we have mp3 players and digital cameras.

The problem with convergence in a portable platform is failures especially when out and about. If your phone fails or battery dies, then every function that the convergence device offers is gone. With a separate phone, mp3 player etc, if one device fails, you can still use the other device for whatever purpose.

the price on these has been going wacky since MS brought out the ZuneHD and killed off production of all the other Zunes. I ordered a black 8gb refurb off Amazon a couple months back for 65 and Amazon kept pushing the date. I ended up canceling after almost two months and buying one elsewhere that actually had them in stock.

Over that two month period the price of the black zune refurb went from 65 up to 105 before heading back down to where it is now.

If you're looking for something to play videos on, look elsewhere.
