The AC adapter in this kit works great for the iPod as long as you have a cable so if you're not looking to spend 30 bucks on Apple's AC adapter, Zune accessories are a cheap way to get one.
This kind of works with the Zune HD. It will charge the Zune HD, let you output audio, but the remote control doesn't really work with the Zune HD very well. You can pause, change tracks and control audio, but it won't let you change albums, artists, etc. I've not tested to see if the video output works yet. Also I've noticed that from time to time, I've had to shut down my Zune HD and restart it in order to get it to play audio when docked. I haven't tested firmware 4.3 to see if this issue has been resolved or not.

yeah but this made in china one is made to microsoft's specs so it's not gonna blow a fuse or cause your zune to explode in a ball of lithium ion fury
