Check out the MEElectronics AI-M9 for a good isolation IEM for cheap (<$20). I'm really happy with mine.

I know that for $10 you get cheap headphones, but given the rate at which my wife loses her headphones, I'm in for a couple. She's lost 5-6 sets since spring, so I have to stock up on them when they are cheap.

Quality headphones for a good price. Much better than the shure or other name brand that you would spend well over $50 on.

They work with any standard headphone plug device. The problem with all ear plug headphones is that if the cord rubs on any thing, the vibration can be heard as it travels to the plugs and if you eat or try to talk with these on, the internal noise from your body overwhelms the music.

I have this pair and the Sony pair. I don't know if Sony fixed the problem, but the white coating fell apart after a few months. Sony didn't have the same problem with the black ones, I know, I have them also. The weird thing about the Sony headphones is that one side is longer than the other. They made them that way so you could have one side go around the back of your neck. They also make them short and include an extension cord so if your player is in your shirt pocket, you don't have too much cord, but if you need a longer cord, you use the extension.

Sony DID actually have the same problem with the black ones #16; I know this from personal experience. Best fitting and sounding in-canal earphones I've ever had, but the lack of quality in the wire housing material has made me leery of buying another set.

i bought these a year ago for $15 through a link from f@tw@llet or bacone@ls on ewiz. definitely worth every bacon double bacon burger. the sound quality is astounding when i pair it up with my mp4 player's Microsoft PlayFX DSP sound system in bass mode. the only gripe i have is the silicone buds as they dont stay in your ear with a little tug. i had to find a double flanged pair on ebay for like $2, but well worth it!

I can confirm that these work with any mp3 player as they have a standard headphone connection (3.5mm). The sound is great and they do a pretty good job of cancelling noise. You can hear some rubbing on the cord but I take care of that by clipping them on and it's not an issue.
