this is a bad drive ben is right its the same as the Digistor DIG-DW-ISD081 which is bad read this review

Didnt even work with my Dell Inspiron 8200. It was a great fit but it didnt recognize it properly. It did show up as a DVD RW but when I instered a DVD-R it wouldnt burn on it. Nero didnt even see the drive infotool saw it but I could only use it to read DVDs and CDs.I Called Digistor and they said "this drive wasnt supposed to be really even released into the public but somehow retailers got a hold of it and started selling them so there are no drivers or firmware available" hmmm if retailers got a hold of it and digistor didnt sell it to them than who did? Whatever I'm returning it to Buy.com. Hopefully nothing goes wrong
Okay, don't buy this thing if it come back... at $40! Got one and it only burns at 4x. Very disappointed!
